About the game

Bumper ball – or bubble football – is football played inside giant inflatable bubbles that cover you from head to knee. Barging, flipping and rolling across the pitch aren’t fouls here; they’re the whole point. Some people call it crash ball or bubble soccer.

In Kraków we play at two indoor halls – Com Com Zone (ul. Ptaszyckiego 6) and al. Jana Pawła II 37 – and in all 18 cities we’ll come wherever you like: a school or artificial pitch, a garden, a beach or company grounds. Travel costs: free within 15 km of Kraków’s centre (then €0.23/km); in other cities, free within the city, with longer trips quoted individually.

We bring a full set of 10–12 BumperBall balls in two colour versions.

Each game involves 10–12 people. Bigger groups are divided into teams for a mini tournament, and everyone gets their turn.

Yes – players must be at least 10; adults are just as welcome.

Safety and equipment

Our standard balls are 1.5 m across and suit players from about 150 cm tall. For players 180 cm or taller we have two larger 1.7 m balls.

Yes – the maximum is 100 kg per player.

Less likely than in ordinary football, as the ball cushions falls and collisions. A little common sense still helps, and the referee keeps an eye on safety throughout.

Once inflated, each ball weighs roughly 10 kg.

You wear it rather like a rucksack: adjustable shoulder straps inside and two grips at the front for your hands. Climb in, fasten the straps and you’re good to go.

Not with normal use. Damage only happens if a ball is misused or someone crashes into something sharp.

Practical information

Normal sports kit is perfect: shorts or joggers, a T-shirt and trainers – unless the match is on a beach 🙂

It can in summer, so bring plenty of water. We’d avoid playing in direct midday sun – on hot days an indoor hall is the better choice.

When it’s cold, go for a hall. In summer an artificial pitch or a grass field works just as well – it really comes down to what you prefer.

A booking covers one hour of ball and venue hire, with about 45 minutes of actual play. You can add an extra 30 minutes if you want more.

Yes – we provide VAT invoices on request.
