Looking for an activity that will have the bride-to-be laughing until she cries? A match in inflatable balls means plenty of action, loads of photos and zero pressure – nobody needs to know the offside rule or run like a pro footballer. The less skill you have, the funnier the falls.
We organise bumper ball for hen parties in 18 cities across Poland. We’ve gathered answers to the questions girls ask us most often: isn’t it too rough, what should we wear and how do we fit a match into the day?
Is Bumper Ball a Good Idea for a Hen Party?
Yes – for several reasons:
- The ball protects you from head to knees and cushions collisions, so even a spectacular tumble ends in laughter, not pain.
- Fitness doesn’t matter – the balls fit every body shape, and the referee picks games to suit the group.
- It brings people together – friends from work, uni and back home play like one team within minutes.
- It makes for great photos – legs in the air, balls flying and faces you couldn’t plan.
What Does a Hen Party Match Look Like?
We arrive at a hall or any venue you choose with 10–12 balls. We show you how to put the ball on safely – you wear it like a backpack, with adjustable straps, and there are handles inside to hold on to. Then the referee runs the games:
- Match – classic football, except every foul ends in a burst of laughter,
- Bubble Sumo – two players in a circle; whoever pushes her opponent over the line wins,
- Bubble Bowling – the bride takes a run-up and bowls over the “pins”, aka the bridesmaids,
- Last Man Standing – if you’re knocked over, you’re out; the last one standing wins.
The whole session lasts an hour, including about 45 minutes of actual play – just enough to wear yourselves out without running out of energy for the evening.

What to Wear for a Match in Inflatable Balls
- Sportswear – leggings or tracksuit bottoms, a T-shirt and trainers. Save the dresses and heels for the evening.
- No jewellery – take off earrings, rings and hair clips before getting into the ball.
- A theme for the group – matching “Team Bride” T-shirts look great in photos. The veil? Best saved for after the match.
- Make-up, hair and water – it gets warm inside the ball, so book the hairdresser for after the game and keep a bottle of water handy.
How to Plan the Day
A match works best as a daytime activity – it gets the group going before the toasts begin. A sample plan:
- 2:00 pm – bumper ball match in a hall,
- 3:30 pm – shower, change and getting ready,
- 6:00 pm – dinner,
- 8:00 pm – party on a tram (Tram Party) or a boat (Boat Party),
- 10:30 pm – a club or cocktails in the city centre.
We can also help book a restaurant table, a VIP booth in a club and transport.

FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions
Isn’t it too rough?
No. The ball cushions collisions and the referee enforces the safety rules. The risk of injury is lower than in a normal game of football.
Can all of us play?
Players need to be at least 150 cm tall and weigh up to 100 kg. If one of the girls is pregnant or recovering from an injury, she can be the cheerleader or photographer – that’s an important job too!
Can we play outdoors?
Yes – in summer an outdoor pitch or grass works great. Just avoid the midday sun, as it gets hot inside the ball. In winter we recommend a hall.
Where to Start?
- Agree on a date and the number of players with the bridesmaids.
- Choose a package – with a hall or at your own venue.
- Send the booking form or call us – we reply within 24 hours.
